About the provider

Teenager 2 Adult Care is a semi-supported accommodation provision which accommodates both male and female young people. We provide high quality support services to young people between the ages of 16 – 18 years who are looked after by the local authority and are transitioning into independent living. Our staff team are highly experienced and fully trained to deliver practical and emotional support to a range of young people with a variety of needs.

Young people placed within our service have:

  • Emotional vulnerabilities
  • Delayed development because of historical trauma
  • Have previously demonstrated behavioural and attachment difficulties
  • Require specialist support due to poor mental health
  • Are being supported by the Youth Justice System.
  • Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC)

Through our experience and working in partnership with local organisations, we have developed our local networks and skills to achieve positive outcomes for young people who often feel alienated and have disengaged from professionals. Young people who may have struggled within traditional mainstream services will be flexibly supported by Teenager 2 Adult Care to work towards adjusting their perceptions to build trusting, secure relationships that provide a platform to learn and develop skills to effectively transition into adulthood. We do this by identifying, planning, and delivering structured programs of varied support. We utilise accredited, nationally recognised programmes such as ASDAN to develop the young people’s independent living skills whilst also delivering individualised support sessions to address their specific needs and requirements.

At Teenager 2 Adult Care we strive to ensure that each young person is provided with equal opportunities to support them to reach their full potential.
